Thanksgiving Fun - Liberty Hill Family & Child Photographer

Recognize these folks?? They are regulars around here, as they happen to be related to me. We had some fun on our Thanksgiving trip this year with a family portrait session. Okay, fun for me... maybe not so much fun for them, but they were troopers and I think it paid off!

Family Portraits in the park - Austin Family/Child Photographer

This wonderful family and I "suffered" through the recent cold snap early in the morning to get some fun family portraits at their neighborhood park. Brrr! I had to find the closest Starbucks on the ride home. Anyone who knows me knows that I much prefer summer heat to winter cold, even Texas winter cold. I would never make it in a snowy climate!

Family Portraits at the Arboretum - Austin Family Photographer

I met up with this family at the Arboretum to take some family portraits for Christmas. We had a really great time!! Their two little guys have an abundance of energy (what I wouldn't give for some of that right about now) but they were charming and adorable! After the session, the family was going to have a picnic dinner. The oldest little guys invited me to stay and have a "pic-a-nik" with them. When I explained that I needed to get home to my little girl he promptly responded, "Okay, well thanks for coming!" So cute! Hope you guys enjoy these, there are more to come!

Family Pictures at the Capitol ~ Austin Family Photographer

Yesterday I got to meet a lovely family at the capitol for a family portrait session. We met around 4:00 PM and got some great shots in before the rain started. They were some of the biggest rain drops I've seen! Luckily, it only rained for a short period, just long enough for little "C" to have some fun running around the rotunda and then we were able to head back outside.

Baby Girl's Birthday

Our little rosebud turned 1 last week. I can hardly believe it. The year has flown by and has been filled with so much fun and countless memories. She is an unbelievable blessing in our lives. When I look at her I am amazed at how beautiful and vibrant she is. I am filled with awe at the responsibility of raising her and training her "in the way she should go". What an incredible journey and an amazing gift.
